Attorney Hogan

Attorney Hogan is a graduate of Boston University and the Quinnipiac College School of Law. She is the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Products Liability. She is licensed to practice law in the states of New York and Connecticut. She has been practicing law in the state and federal courts since 1987. Her specialities are criminal defense, civil litigation, divorce and custody cases, juvenile law and habeas corpus cases. In 1995 she won a habeas corpus appeal, Holcomb v. Commissioner which reinforced a prisoner's constitutional rights to a hearing. It is reported at 39 Conn. App. 485 (1995). In 2000 Attorney Hogan won a significant habeas corpus case which resulted in her client being freed from prison. In 2005, Attorney Hogan successfully campaigned for First Selectman of East Lyme, Connecticut. Since her inauguration on December 5, 2005, she has not been practicing as an attorney.
